The Full Journey

One advisor, one application season, everything handled.

The Full Journey is for students who want one person carrying the whole application season with them, whether their results are in or still months away. You get an aid-first school list, every essay drafted together, all applications filed on time, and the financial aid and scholarship paperwork completed alongside your parents.

What is included

Every step below is part of the price. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile review and plan

We go through your results or your predicted grades, your school reports, your activities and what your family can realistically contribute each year. You leave with a written plan naming the countries and types of school worth your time.

  2. Aid-first school list

Eight to twelve schools chosen for how much they have given students in your position, not for how well known they are. Every school on the list comes with its aid policy for internationals, its deadlines and what it will cost you if the aid comes through.

  3. Your personal statement

Four working sessions from first ideas to final draft, plus written feedback on every version in between. We write it with you: we ask the questions that get the real story out, draft alongside you and edit until it is right. You are in every session, so the essay still sounds like you.

  4. Every supplemental essay

Each school on your list has its own questions, and there are usually more than students expect. We plan them together, reuse material where it honestly fits, and edit every one before it goes in.

  5. Applications filed together

Common App, UCAS, OUAC or a school's own portal, filled in and checked line by line with you on a call. Nothing is submitted without you reading it first.

  6. Recommendations and transcripts

We brief your teachers on what a US or UK recommendation needs to say, and chase your school for transcripts and predicted grades early, because this is where Ghanaian applications most often stall.

  7. CSS Profile, ISFAA and IDOC

A dedicated session with your parents, in English or Twi, working through income, property, business earnings and dependants. We prepare the supporting documents with them and check every figure before filing.

  8. Scholarship applications

A shortlist of external scholarships you are eligible for, with deadlines, plus hands-on help writing and submitting each application rather than a list to work through on your own.

  9. Offers, aid and the visa

We read every aid letter with you, separate grants from loans, and draft an appeal where a school leaves room for one. Once you have chosen, we walk you through the F-1 interview at the Accra embassy.

Who this is for

A good fit if ✓

  • You are set on applying abroad, whether your results are in or you are still sitting the exams
  • You need real financial aid, not a small discount, to be able to go
  • You are applying to several schools and want one person tracking every deadline
  • Your parents are willing to sit down with us and share financial documents
  • You can give the process a few hours most weeks between now and your deadlines

Not the right time if ✗

  • You are applying to one school only. The Personal Statement Studio will serve you better and cost less

If it is not the right time, say so on the call and we will tell you when to come back. We would rather turn work down than take money for work that cannot help you.

Timeline

Built around a November or January deadline. Start later and we will compress it, though some scholarship deadlines cannot move.

  1. Month 1
Profile review, then your school list. Transcript and recommendation requests go to your school this month, not later.
  2. Months 2 to 3
Personal statement, from first ideas to a draft you are happy with. Your parents' first financial aid session happens in parallel.
  3. Months 3 to 4
Supplemental essays for every school on the list. Applications are built up in the portal as the essays are finished.
  4. Month 4
Applications checked line by line and submitted together on a call, ahead of the deadline rather than on the day.
  5. Months 4 to 5
CSS Profile, ISFAA and IDOC filed, with the supporting documents your parents have prepared with us. External scholarship applications go in as their deadlines arrive.
  6. Months 6 to 8
Decisions and aid letters arrive. We compare them with you, appeal where there is room, and help you choose.
  7. After you commit
F-1 visa interview preparation, a practice interview, and a checklist of what to carry to the embassy.

What we need from you

We do the work, but we cannot do it without these. Missing documents are the most common reason an application runs late.

From you

  • Your results if you have them, or the dates you are sitting the exams
  • School reports and a transcript request made early
  • An honest list of your activities, work and responsibilities at home
  • A few hours most weeks, and drafts back within the days we agree
  • Names of two teachers who know your work well

From your parents

  • One session with us, around 90 minutes, in English or Twi
  • Income statements or payslips for the last year
  • Bank statements for the last three to six months
  • Business records, if the family income comes from a business
  • Details of property, land and anyone else the family supports

Questions about this service

Can you guarantee I will get in, or get funded?

No, and you should not work with anyone who says otherwise. Admissions and aid decisions belong to the universities. What we commit to is the work: a list built around aid, essays you are proud of, complete forms filed on time, and an advisor who has done this many times before. What our students have won is on the wins wall.

Is $850 the whole cost?

It is the whole cost of our work. You still pay the universities their own application fees and the CSS Profile fee, though many students qualify for waivers and we will tell you which ones you can claim. There are no extra charges from us later in the season.

What if we cannot pay it all at once?

The price is split in two by default: 70% to begin and 30% when your applications are submitted. If that still does not work, say so on the call. We have spread it further for families before and we would rather do that than lose a student who is a good fit.

Do you help with SAT, WASSCE or TOEFL preparation?

No, we do not tutor for any exam. We do start before your results arrive, though. Researching schools, building a list, finding your essay topic and drafting the personal statement are all better done early, and none of them need a score. Your final list and the aid forms wait until your results are in.

I am not in Accra. Does that matter?

No. Everything runs over Google Meet and WhatsApp, and we work with students from Tamale to Takoradi. If you are in Accra and would rather meet in person for the first session, that can be arranged.
